WASHINGTON — Montgomery County police are turning to local businesses for help as the search for two area toddlers reaches the two-week mark.
Jacob Hoggle, 2, and Sarah Hoggle, 3, went missing with their mother Catherine Hoggle on Sept. 8. Four days later, 27-year-old Catherine Hoggle was found, but refused to tell authorities where the children were, only insisting that they are “safe.”
Now, police are asking business owners in the area to check any video surveillance tapes for clues that may help in finding the children.
Montgomery County police released two new flyers showing the children and vehicles Catherine Hoggle was known to drive. While the cars have been accounted for, police want business owners to check video surveillance around the time the kids went missing.
One vehicle is a silver Nissan Rogue with Maryland tags 3AX8778.
The other is a blue/gray Chrysler Town and Country with Maryland tags 48598CE.
Catherine Hoggle was taking medications for paranoid schizophrenia. She’s being charged in connection with their disappearances and Montgomery County police officers are working on building a homicide case against her.
